5D4N Trip in Bali With a Budget of Less Than ₱15k each

Every year, my girlfriends and I celebrate our birthdays by doing quick city trips, beach getaways, out of the country vacation and exploring one of the most iconic landscapes in the world. This time we have decided to visit Bali! This place is usually featured mostly in many social media travel pages and I heard a lot of 5-star resorts, beautiful landscape, volcano trekking, sandy beaches and most of all the famous Bali swing. It is indeed a destination that everyone can enjoy.

Today, I’ll be sharing our tour Itinerary, recommended hotels and the budget breakdown.

Get Started

To get started, it is important that you book your flight earlier to get cheaper flights. We probably know all this! 😀 You can book as low as 3k php for round trip!

Another thing is, you need to book your hotel earlier as well. Best places to book a hotel include, Kuta, Seminyak, Ubud and Legian.

They say the best time to visit Bali is during the dry season from April to September. The peak season is usually from July to August. November to March is the rainy season.

The WIFI/Internet

Most hotels in Bali offer free WIFI to their guests but the internet connection is so slow. In this case, you have the option to rent a pocket wifi or buy a sim card in Bali. For an easier transaction, you can check some of the rental wifi at klook website. You can purchase for as low as 400php for a 30-day period. Just pick it up at the airport upon your arrival.

Airport Transfers

You have the option to arrange a pick up from your hotel or rent a car. There are cheap rental cars in Bali, you just have to book in advance or check some car rentals available in Klook. In our case, airport transfer is already included in our tour package.

Tour Package

We avail our tour package with Bali Cheapest Tours for $200/person (without hotel). Inclusions are:

  • Return airport transfers on private basis
    • Comfortable air-conditioned car English speaking guide/driver
    • 3x Lunch
    • Entrance fees and tickets
    • Government tax

I highly recommend them especially our friendly, funny and very accommodating driver, Mr. Agung Tattoo. It was an amazing trip and they provided us with an excellent travel experience. Thank you so much.

Expenses

Our tour package cost us about $200 each as mentioned earlier and that is ₱10,583.1. For our hotel accommodation, we paid ₱6,849.42 for the 1st 3 nights and ₱4053.86 for the remaining 2 nights. We were 3 in the group so we only paid ₱3,634 each for 5days plus the tour package making it less than ₱15k each. Breakfast and lunch are already included in the tour so all you have to do is to spend some money on your dinner. The average cost of dinner is as low as ₱100 to ₱600 depending on where and what you eat.

Tips When You Go Shopping

If you are also looking for cheaper rattan bags or souvenirs, the best place to visit is the traditional market. Rattan bags here cost for as low as ₱300. Another place to where you’ll find cheap souvenirs is the Tanah Lot, located just near the main entrance of the temple. They offer good a variety at affordable rates compare to Ubud Market.

There you go! A lot of wide range of activities you can do in Bali. Whether you’re planning to stay here for a short or long period, just take a deep breath and enjoy the experience.
