So far, I think I found the most phenomenal infinity pool at Vista Tala Resort in Orani, Bataan. At some point in our lives, we want to indulge in a week-long experience like a staycation to refresh and spend quality time with our loved ones so I decided to give this a try! My staycation at Vista Tala Resort is one of the luxurious serene and peaceful experience I’ve had. I’m a beach person but this encounter is a good alternative. There is something magical about its infinity pool facing off the mountain, giving the guests a relaxing view.
Vista Tala is a class A resort offering high-class facilities and amenities. It is about 1-hour drive away from Pampanga via SCTEX.
The Best Part
If there is anything I love about the place, it’s watching the sunset/sunrise over the mountain and I tell you, it can become a real show. 😊
Also, one of the reasons why I enjoyed my stay here is that we visited on a weekday which means it’s not crowded. During our time, there are only 2 available outdoor pools open which are totally fine for me. In terms of wifi, their wifi connection is good enough for work purposes especially if you are a digital nomad.
The Bad Part
I think during the weekend; the pools are going to be small to accommodate guests. In terms of signal, it’s not that weak and not that strong. I usually get like 2 bars inside the room.
We also encountered a short-term power outage TWICE for about 5-10 mins each. I was in the middle of doing my tasks when this happened. This is the 1st time I encountered such power failures in a high-class hotel. Does anyone experience this as well?
Another thing is that I easily get bored here since I am really an adventurous woman. It is just my own perception but I’d say the place is really nice.

Vista Tala Resort Restaurant offers a good variety of food and I think the prices are just okay but can be a little bit pricey for those that are on a tight budget. I highly recommend their pasta! It’s really so good!
